Two-time Tony Award and Emmy Award-winning actress Bebe Neuwirth brings Stories with Piano to Walnut Creek’s Lesher Center for the Arts (1601 Civic Dr., Walnut Creek) on Wednesday, May 30 at 8 p.m. for one performance only. Presented by Feinstein’s Presents, Feinstein’s at the Nikko’s series showcasing world-class performers at larger venues throughout the Bay Area, this intimate cabaret-style evening will weave together songs and stories from throughout Bebe’s celebrated career.

NELLIE MCKAY | JUNE 1, 2018

Award-winning singer/songwriter Nellie McKay will make her Feinstein’s at the Nikko debut to celebrate the release of her 7th album, “Sister Orchid.” Conjuring the image of a lonely all-night truck stop along Highway 1 on the California coast, all but lost in the fog that comes creeping along the shoreline, “Sister Orchid” speaks of the night, the outsider, the plaintive wail of those lost at sea. “Sister Orchid” was conceived in solitude, executed in darkness. It comes from a place of quiet, a world of low lights and cool drinks, up against a hard wall. An oasis of hungry eyes and easy promises, warm as a biscuit, the kind of place your mother warned you against.

Direct from sold-out shows in New York City and Los Angeles, television personality, pop singer, and author Luann de Lesseps—known as The Countess on Bravo TV’s hit series “Real Housewives of New York City”—will make her San Francisco debut with her nightclub act #CountessAndFriends at Feinstein’s at the Nikko. Hip as a New York minute and classically chic, de Lesseps’ glamourous life in the fast lane on several continents (together with a decade at the center of reality TV) provides fodder for hilarious stories, one-of-a-kind anecdotes, and, of course, some standards and pop songs in her inimitable style.  She will be joined by special guest stars in a glorious return to the heyday of cosmopolitan evening entertainment.

MARTHA WASH | june 29 - 30, 2018

Following a sold-out engagement in 2014, music legend and two-time Grammy Award nominee Martha Wash returns to Feinstein’s at the Nikko for two performances only.  Ms. Wash’s music career spans genres from pop to dance to R&B, and is responsible for some of the most celebrated music to ever hit the airwaves, including “It’s Raining Men,” “Sweat (Everybody Dance Now),” “Everybody, Everybody,” and “Carry On.”  In this intimate evening, Wash will perform songs from throughout her more-than-three decade career.

Emmy Award-winning actor and comedian Leslie Jordan returns to Feinstein’s at the Nikko with his latest show, EXPOSED. In EXPOSED, Leslie invites audiences behind-the-scenes of his childhood and career! Offering a charming and hilarious look back at his life experiences as a flamboyant youth raised as a Southern Baptist, as well as the “unbelievable real-life stories” and treasured anecdotes from his renowned stage and television performances. WARNING: EXPOSED may cause a great deal of laughter and a few tears!

JOHN LLOYD YOUNG | juLY 19 - 21, 2018

Following four previous sold-out engagements, Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young returns to Feinstein’s at the Nikko with his new show, I Have Dreamed, for three performances only. In his signature passionate and thrilling style, Young interprets the spine-tingling, soul-bearing showstoppers that shaped his earliest Broadway aspirations. With Tommy Faragheron piano, Young will sing from Jesus Christ Superstar, The Wiz, Hair, Hamilton, and more, along with classics by legendary Broadway writers including Rodgers, Hart, Hammerstein, and Loesser.
