JACK LONDON SQUARE WELCOMES FOUR STATUES FROM OAKLAND A’S “STOMPER IN THE TOWN” PUBLIC ART PROJECT

Jack London Square announced that it is now home to four statues from the Oakland Athletics’Stomper in the Town” art project in honor of the team’s 50 years in Oakland. The four statues—located at Lungomare, Plank, Visit Oakland, and on the Marina Lawn—are among 50 Stomper statues throughout Oakland.

JACK LONDON SQUARE WELCOMES THE RETURN OF WATERFRONT FLICKS

Jack London Square announced the return of Waterfront Flicks, a free outdoor movie series that takes place at sundown every other Thursday from June 21 through August 30 on the Jack London Square Ferry Lawn. The series features an impressive lineup of Hollywood blockbuster favorites, as well as a nostalgic classic. The event series is free to attend and open to everyone, with food and drinks specials from Jack London Square merchants available for purchase.

JACK LONDON SQUARE ANNOUNCES RETURN OF 10TH SEASON OF DANCING UNDER THE STARS, A FREE SUMMER DANCE SERIES 

Jack London Square announced the return of Dancing Under the Stars, a free outdoor summer dance series taking place 7:30–9 p.m. every Friday from June 1 through August 31, 2018 at the foot of Broadway in the heart of Jack London Square. Returning for its 10th season, this series features a free 30-minute dance lesson in a range of styles, from classic jazz and country to modern Bollywood and pop.

JACK LONDON SQUARE ART AND WINE FESTIVAL RETURNS TO THE OAKLAND WATERFRONT

The Jack London Square Art & Wine Festival, a fun-filled celebration of wine and art, will be held on the Oakland waterfront on Saturday, May 19 from 12 to 5 p.m. Located at the heart of the Urban Wine Trail, Jack London Square will be filled with more than 40 Northern California wineries offering tastings, as well as small eats, craft beer, cider, live music, vendors, artists and more.

FIRST-EVER CINCO DE MAYO DANCE FESTIVAL TO BE HELD AT JACK LONDON SQUARE

Jack London Square is pleased to present the first-ever Cinco de Mayo Dance Festival in partnership with TURFinc on Saturday, May 5 from 12–7 p.m. The event will feature dance battles, traditional Latin entertainment, local vendors and eats, and more on the Oakland waterfront.

OAKLAND SUPPLY CO. AND GROCERY CAFÉ ARRIVE AT JACK LONDON SQUARE

Jack London Square announced today that Oakland Supply Co. and Grocery Café have joined the waterfront properties’ ever-expanding mix of tenants. Oakland Supply Co.—a premium apparel, gift and accessories offshoot of the iconic brand Oaklandish that celebrates “local love and original Oakland charm” through civic pride-oriented merchandise—celebrated its arrival at Jack London Square this past weekend (May 13–14) with an official Grand Opening featuring an in-store DJ, special giveaways and more. In addition, the wildly popular Burmese restaurant Grocery Café has relocated from East Oakland and will re-open its doors in the former Hahn’s Hibachi location beginning Monday, May 29.
