HILLBARN THEATRE RINGS IN THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH ALAN MENKEN AND LYNN AHRENS’S MUSICAL ADAPTATION OF THE TIMELESS CHARLES DICKENS TALE, A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Hillbarn Theatre brings the holiday spirit to its 2018–19 season with Alan Menken and Lynn Ahrens’s musical adaption of the timeless Charles Dickens tale A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Hailed as “soaring, delightful musical theatre with a treasure house of beautiful, evocative music” (Talkin’ Broadway), A Christmas Carol tells the classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge through a lavish and thrilling score. A Christmas Carol will perform at Hillbarn Theatre November 29–December 16, 2018.

HILLBARN THEATRE CONSERVATORY PRESENTS THE TONY AWARD-WINNING MUSICAL, WONDERFUL TOWN

Youth actors from Hillbarn Theatre Conservatory Program will present the Tony Award-winning musical, WONDERFUL TOWN. The story follows the adventures and misadventures of two sisters, Ruth and Eileen—one an aspiring writer and the other a dancer—who move from their comfortable hometown in Ohio to Greenwich Village, a bohemian area in New York City to fulfill their dreams. Wonderful Town will perform at Hillbarn Theatre November 2–4, 2018.

RANDY O’HARA NAMED NEW CONSERVATORY DIRECTOR OF HILLBARN THEATRE

Following an extensive search, Hillbarn Theatre, the Peninsula's premier theatre company, and its Executive Artistic Director Dan Demers named local actor and educator Randy O’Hara as its new Conservatory Director. O’Hara succeeds Erica Wyman, who has helmed the Conservatory for two years.

HilLBARN THEATRE ANNOUNCES ITS DYNAMIC 2018–19 SEASON!

Following a wildly successful 2017–18 season, Hillbarn Theatre, the Peninsula's premier theatre company, announced the productions that will comprise the lineup for its 2018–2019 season. Highlights include the “funniest farce ever written,” NOISES OFF; Alan Menken and Lynn Ahren’s lavish and thrilling holiday musical, A CHRISTMAS CAROL; Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler’s bloody-fun musical thriller, SWEENEY TODD; a comic play where love and fortune intertwine, LEADING LADIES; and the Tony Award-nominated musical based on the hit Adam Sandler movie, THE WEDDING SINGER. One additional production will be announced on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.
