We are looking for a Public Relations Account Coordinator [PRAC] to join our team who will be responsible for the administrative aspects of public relations. The PRAC will have an understanding of consumer PR practices, earned media, and strategic communications. We need a team member who knows the technology, tools and tactics essential to PR and Communications. And because we are a small team, we need someone who can assist with general office and administrative tasks when necessary. The PRAC will be essential to the everyday functions of the office by assisting other CZA team members across multiple accounts.

There is no typical day at CZA, but our AC’s responsibilities include:

  • Support the CZA team

  • Maintain and update press list, sourcing and curating relevant, niche media lists

  • Tracking coverage and maintaining PR reports

  • Assist with writing and distributing press materials

  • Researching client-specific industries

  • Review relevant editorial calendars

  • Variety of project work, depending on client needs

  • Assist with content creation and social media management

  • Maintain press release and media alert calendar

  • Participate in client brainstorm sessions

  • On-site support at performances and events



  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the field of Public Relations / Marketing

  • Excellent interpersonal skills (written and verbal)

  • An understanding of traditional and evolving PR techniques

  • Relationships with local media a plus

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong problem-solving and ability to prioritize

  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Cision and MailChimp a plus
